We invite you to discover what makes DigiPRO Media Group such a great place to work. The Video and Film Special Effects Assistant writes image processing code with the DigiPRO After Effects team. Adobe After Effects is an award winning tool for Motion Graphics and Visual Effects work. After Effects consists of the modular architecture that ship with several hundred effect plug-ins. This position would be to extend, improve, and rethink some of the effects for the future. You would be working alongside the engineering team to work with the current and next versions of After Effects.

 

Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (or equivalent degree) and Master’s Certificate in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited academic institution and six plus (6+) years of progressive experience in a video or multimedia environment; Documented experience in writing multi-platform high performance C/C++ and Intrinsics to update selected effects; Certification in Adobe Creative Suites and Final Cut Pro; Must be able to use algorithmic design to rework effects from integer to floating point work flow; Have a working knowledge of profiling tools; Knowledge of image processing fundamentals through practical experience or advanced coursework; Must be enrolled in Computer Science/Engineering Masters program; Familiarity with C and source code control.
